I'm still stuck in Kuwait. My platoon and part of our headquarters platoon have been left behind to help load our equipment up for the trip north. Two platoons hopped on a flight to Iraq on Monday but were accidently sent to Mosul in norther Iraq instead of our basecamp in central Iraq. The other planeload was hard to track down, but they are apparently in the correct basecamp now. As of today, the lost platoons are still in Mosul, waiting on a flight back to central Iraq. We keep asking about our flight but still have no word. We are all bored here and it's getting worse with more and more people coming in everyday. The chow lines are long, the phones lines and internet access have me waiting hours to use them. I'm hoping to leave by the end of the week but I probably won't know until the day before I leave.
