Katie and I had been following the progress of a killdeer family a couple of months ago but the eggs hatched and the chicks grew up before we knew it. We have another family at work that terrorizes those who choose to park too close to their nest. A couple of weeks ago I noticed new eggs in the nest we had been visiting so I headed over with the kiddo today to see what was happening. I was greeted by the uhttp://aggiefamily.com/themes/dragonfly/images/bbcode/img.gif Imagesual racket from the parents and what must have been a few other relatives. Mama bird did her broken wing dance and the others flew around yelling at the top of their lungs to look at them. We got to the nest and found a newly hatched chick and two eggs.
